My cousin, who just won 'Young British Dancer of the Year'! Go Billy! So proud of you matey!
Message from aunty Patsy:
He won this time, in the final in the Linbury studio (where we saw the end of year performance) in front of a panel of judges who were the directors of the major british ballet companies. Needless to say we are proud, in fact if we were any more proud we would burst and you would have to scrape us off the ceiling.
Billy is being modest and not appreciating the fuss too much.
[NB 2013: He then went on to win the American equivalent in 2010 and now dances with Birmingham Royal Ballet.]
