Well, final post from England. Off to Heathrow soon, take-off at 7pm.
Had a lovely drive through the Forest of Dean yesterday with Dad, stopped off at Tintern for lunch. The autumn trees were stunning. Went out for Indian in the evening with M, too.
Had loads of goodbye phonecalls including Cassie, Graeme and my pre-departure co-ordinater at VSO, Heather. Dad and M are driving me to the airport soon where we'll meet up with Mum and Merrick. Haven't done this since Australia, when all of Phil's family came to the airport too! It was the first time our families had met. Rather cunning on our part, making the introductions then hopping on a plane to the other side of the world ;)
Well, not much to say really. All packed, feeling ready.
Also just got an email to tell me that one of the photos on my Flickr account will be appearing in the next Cardiff Schmap edition, which is quite sweet. Funny it should be of the wishing well. They did ask first :)
Anyway, shan't ramble. Just to say.... well, see you in Africa :)
