So, half-three in the afternoon. How's the list going?

Electrogaz - did they send someone? Did they ever. Waste of a morning waiting around for them.

Fountain press quote? Meeting arranged for 4pm, cancelled 15 minutes ago as the quote's not ready yet.

Filing and accounting systems? Léon's wife's ill and the only computer for Sign Language approvals is in use. Neither of which are his fault. Unlikely to get anything done until next week at the earliest.

Any achievements today? Well, the IT report is in. Electricity was on, but the printer was broken, so I had to go and ask my Programme Manager to print it out. It's done now, though. All in. Just need the proof of room hire costs, which could be anywhere but isn't in our legal or financial files. I've asked Augustin to keep an eye open. That one I didn't lose myself, for once :)

Also saw a very upsetting scene. Someone had hit a dog outside the office and its body was lying in the road, blood everywhere. Very sad :(

So, all in all, about as productive as it ever gets at the moment. Still, one report down, one to go. Also discovered from the photocopy from RNAD (as read by Emilliane, who understands the Kinyarwanda columns) that we have a whack load of money still left in the account. Next job is to find out what it's all for :)

I had a very constructive blather to the Programme Office and now feel quite a lot better. My stress levels have returned to 'shrug and smile' rather than 'atomic' so all is fine and manageable again. Focus on recreation.
